| Welcome To Minot-First Presbyterian Church
Hi! My name is Dr. Bob Edwards and I am the senior pastor at First Presbyterian Church. I want to extend to you a hearty welcome and a sincere desire that we might be the church to help in your spiritual journey. I believe that the two greatest needs of today's generation is to be a part of a church that stirs your spiritual desire and creates a sense of being connected to something that feels like family. We need, in this generation, to know our church is real and that the people in the church care. I would like to share that we do just that-we care and we share our lives together around the gospel and mission of Christ. We are truly a church committed to "Making Life Work!' The church needs to be a place for meeting the needs of people and their families, where fellowship and sense of belonging resides, where worship is dynamic and contemporary, and the Bible is taught clearly with care to apply to life issues. We have designed our entire program to meet the needs of today's families. We have a dynamic Sunday School program for all ages; many small groups meeting at various times; a music program designed to assist in worship and to be fun for the people involved; an exciting Wednesday night program; men's fellowship groups and ladies fellowship groups; an awesome, exciting youth program; a seniors commission to help with the unique cares of the mature; and a soup kitchen filled with fun people ministering to folks in town. We are a church with "a lot of kindness" to share. We offer many opportunities to connect and feel a part of the "home sense" of this church. We camp together, we play together, we retreat together, and we learn together. We offer a full nursery and a full children's church program. I hope you will come again, allow us to get to know you, and for you to get to know us. I feel we are a friendly, youthful congregation with a dream of touching the lives of those who attend and to those who live around us.
